Blob (EIP-4844)
A new way for Layer 2s to post data to Ethereum much more cheaply. Data 'blobs' are temporary and cheaper than regular storage.
Example
Arbitrum fees dropping 10-100x after blobs launched, because posting transaction data to Ethereum became much cheaper.
